How booking a Plitvice trip works

1 · Check whether the park ticket is included

On the park's 2026 price list an adult ticket costs €40 from June to September and €23 in April, May and October. A tour that leaves it out is only cheaper on paper.

2 · Check the entrance and the time slot

Park tickets are sold for a date, an entrance and an hour, and are valid only at the entrance chosen. Check which entrance a tour uses, and which of the walking programmes it follows.

3 · Compare the time at the lakes

A day tour from Split runs about 12 hours, much of it on the road. The shortest walking programmes take 2 to 3 hours; seeing both the Upper and Lower Lakes takes 4 to 6.
